As fall semester comes to a close and we all stress over finals, let's look back on the good, bad and ugly of this semester. Whether you're a freshman or a senior, you can relate to all of these.
1. How we all felt when everyone told us it gets harder
Remember your parents telling you it's not all fun and games? Seems like forever ago now.
2. How we all feel now
Yeah we are taking L's on a daily basis now. College feels like one very big, very expensive L.
3. Everyone at their first frat party
You were surrounded by so many people you didn't know and you were feeling it.
4. How you feel after your first frat party
"I'm never drinking again." Just the thought of alcohol makes you want to puke.
5. Literally everyone in 8:30 a.m. classes
I'm still wondering why they have early classes when they know 99% of students don't go to bed until at least 2 a.m.
6. Everyone in foreign language classes
You study flashcards and think you know what you're doing but you present your oral exam and you sound like this...
7. Going to football games even though you're not quite sure what's happening
This one is mostly for my South Carolina fans because honestly, this is how the student section looks after every play.
8. Seeing literally every girl's boobs at the football games
We go to football games for the sport, not to see all of these girls wearing the least amount of clothing possible.
9. When anyone asks you to do anything on Sunday
Not only do you need to recover from the weekend, but you also have so much homework and laundry that you can't put off any longer.
10. Hearing the people in the next room doing the nasty
I don't think I have to explain. We are all scarred.
11. Forgetting you had homework to do until it's too late
You probably just realized you have homework to do.
12. Looking at the list of projects, essays, and homework you have due that week
Honestly, there's no way anyone can finish all of this and have time to eat and sleep.
13. How you actually do the readings for English or any class honestly
Readings? Yeah, I did that... kind of.
14. Reading your friend's essay even though you're already stressed to the max
We've all questioned if people ever learned English before now.
15. Literally all day every day
We all have those days. For most of us, this has been a daily feeling since we moved in.
16. Having the worst professor
We all have that one professor. Mine lives with his mom and dresses like Kanye and he is too socially awkward to teach anyone anything.
17. When any small inconvenience happens on top of the mess that is your life
You ran out of toilet paper, you can't find your favorite pair of jeans, and you hear people laughing while you're studying. Like why doesn't the world revolve around me? I'm a good person.
18. Me at the end of every day
Forever wishing I actually had a bathtub in my dorm because I would be much more relaxed than I am right now.
19. When your parents call to check on you
You don't know how to tell your parents that your world is falling apart and you have no clue what you're doing. Just say you're eating vegetables and you actually got some sleep last night; save your mom the heartache.
20. Looking at your grades
Even if you have an A or an F in a class, you studied so much you feel like you deserve a nobel prize or something.
21. Listening to your friends talk about wanting to get drunk all the time
You stayed in the library all night while everyone did something with their lives.
22. Thinking you want to get your life together
We all know that feeling when we accomplished one task and thought we could be adults now.
23. When your professor tells you there will be material on the final you never went over
You just took an exam one week before the final and you think your professor is done teaching.
24. When your professors don't seem to understand how hard finals are
Think about how many students drink excessive amounts of Red Bull, take Adderall, and don't eat for days. Finals threaten the safety of all students.
25. Thinking about doing it all again next semester
Yeah, we have to do it all over again in a few weeks.
