A Blast From The Past
  • 1)Phil of the Future: Probably one of the less popular shows on the list but nonetheless one of the best. A family that gets stuck in the past when taking a vacation on a time machine, the Diffy’s have to learn how to fit in with society.
  • 2)Recess: A posse of fourth graders and their adventures during recess, in school, and in life in general. This show was pretty amazing and had some great messages for kids.
  • 3)Hey Arnold: A child (with a football head) living in the city and is growing up among friends. Of course he and his friends run into life problems, some funny and some more serious, and they do an excellent job of solving them… even if they hit a few bumps along the way.
  • 4)Rugrats: You’re living under a rock if you haven’t heard of this one. Rugrats was an amazing show about babies and their little shenanigans/adventures. There is also a show called All Grown Up about the same set of kids, but grown into teenagers.
  • 5)Zoey101: This show made everyone want to live in a boarding school in Malibu. I mean, who wouldn’t want to? This show is all about teen problems. (So obviously the main drama is LOVE)
  • 6)Totally Spies!: You HAD to pick which member you were! Totally Spies! was about three teenage girls who worked as undercover spies and often saved the world. They were pretty amazing, keeping up with school, boys AND spy activities. Such good role models.
  • 7)Jimmy Neutron: Boy genius with a head that looked like an ice-cream cone with a robot dog. That’s it, that’s the show.
  • 8)Fillmore!: This show is about a reformed juvenile delinquent that thinks he’s a cop because he’s part of the safety patrol. I mean, he does solve crimes so I guess he kind of is.
  • 9)Rocket Power: A friend group of four has adventures while doing some extreme sports. These kids were some daredevils!
  • 10)Even Stevens: Steven is a misfit preteen with an older sister that thinks she’s all that and a family that seems really put together in general. Of course things aren’t as they appear. Steven always seems to mess up because he competes with his older sister, causing some crazy situations for the family.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
