Looking Ahead to a Trump Presidency

On January 20, we'll say goodbye to President Obama and hello to a new type of President: Trump. He has promised change and I believe that's one of the promises he'll actually keep.

Here are some rights you can look forward to when we embark on the staggering journey that will be the Trump presidency.

1. The right to disrespect people who disagree with you.

2. The right to dehumanize those you feel are your inferiors.

3. The right to objectify women.

4. The right to use wealth as a measure of worth.

5. The right to hide behind religion.

6. The right to exclude people from our supposedly free country.

7. The right to deny scientifically proven facts.

Ladies and Gentlemen, your future President of the United States.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
