Look At Her
The Odyssey

Look at her

In a pink bow and ruffles

A baby girl with beautiful curls

Look at her

So innocent and kind

Slowly growing that naïve mind

Look at her

She is looking at him

Falling in love, with trustful eyes

Look at her

As she lays with this boy

Moment of love, becomes a sin

Look at her

On the very next day

Everyone knows, legs on display

Look at her

With tears in hazel eyes

Crying the cherished moment away

Look at her

In the dreaded hallway

Hear the rumors, gossip, and lies

Look at her

Underneath the pink bows

Do you see the “slut” they called her?

Look at him

As he basks in the light

Praised for the win that took “no fight”
