Being a dad isn't a walk in the park, especially to a girl, but you make it look so easy and I don't tell you enough how proud I am to be your daughter. So, here are six thank you's to you, dad!

Thank you for instilling a love of sports in me.

Not only did I get to bond with you over the most recent wins of our favorite teams, but it made me that much more appreciative of being a part of something greater than myself.

Thank you for all the food.

Crawfish, smoked bologna, corn on the cob, chicken, ribs, I named it and it was all I could eat whenever I wanted it, and I can never thank you enough for keeping my belly full and happy!

No matter if it was, from the dark or the boys that came over. You always made sure I knew that everything was taken care of, and I was safe from the big bad world.

Raising a dancer and a college girl isn't cheap, but you always made sure I had everything I ever needed. I don't say it enough, but what you provide me never goes unnoticed or unappreciated; I couldn't do any of this without you!
