On October 1, 2017, a true tragedy befell Netflix users everywhere. The hilarious NBC sitcom "30 Rock" was removed from the streaming service. Created by Tina Fey and inspired by her time as a writer for Saturday Night Live, "30 Rock" follows the life of quirky television writer, Liz Lemon (played by Fey herself).

The removal of the show from Netflix was truly devastating, but that doesn't change the fact that Liz Lemon's character is super relatable. Here are just a few times when Liz's reactions were completely applicable to our lives.

1. When your friends are all posting about their spring breaks and you're still in school.

While you're dealing with your midterms and piles of homework, all of your friends at different schools have already gone home or on some super awesome getaway for their spring break so you're forced to live vicariously through their Instagram posts and neverending Snap stories.

2. When you finally get money and can stop eating Ramen for every meal.

You can only eat Cup Noodles so many times before you actually need to consume real food. Getting some extra cash from your parents or a long-awaited paycheck is always good for times like this.

3. When you don't know how to speak on the phone like a normal adult.

Whether you have to call your doctor or your bank, sometimes adulting can be intimidating and the pressure to sound like you know what you're doing gets to be too much. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it! Eventually.

4. When you get through a really tough day.

We've all had those super tough days where we're not quite sure how we're going to get through it alive. But we always do, and that's worth celebrating.

5. When you have a test on a Saturday.

Having to go sit in a lecture hall and take an exam is unpleasant most every time, but it's especially horrible when it's during the weekend when you'd rather be sleeping or doing something fun and not school related.

6. When you finally talk to a guy who isn't a total f*ckboy.

In college, decent men can prove to be surprisingly elusive. When you finally find someone who's nice and isn't trying to waste your time, it's most definitely a success.

7. When PMS cravings hit.

This one is pretty self-explanatory.

8. When your favorite show gets removed from Netflix.

AKA an actual image of me when I found out "30 Rock" was being removed.

So even though we can't stream the genius of "30 Rock" on Netflix anymore, we can all agree that Liz Lemon is, and always will, be awkward, iconic, and super relatable.

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
