What It's Like Living With A Sister In Middle School

Middle school seems like a lifetime ago... and yet I am still hearing all the drama from my sister in eighth grade. Here's a list of things I can guarantee you understand if you have a sister who is still a "tween."

1. She has an exuberant social life, constantly meeting up with friends, never being at home for longer than 10 minutes, and you just can't keep up.

I think I'm just gonna chill in bed....

2. She is confused as to why you're friends with your parents.

Hello? They are like the worst thing ever!!

3. You receive tons of Instagram follower requests from all of her friends that you have never met.

And yes, they like every single picture.

4. She has a new boyfriend every week.

Even though all they did was text and wave at each other in the halls like this.

5. She definitely takes more selfies than you.

"Wait, re-do."

6. She is constantly complaining about how stressed she is in school.

All you're thinking is you just wait!

7. She wants you to drive her everywhere to look cool in front of her friends.

"Blast this song! OMG!" *insert screaming eight grade girls voices*

8. She steals all your clothes and then gives them to her friends.

Yes I see that Instagram of your friend wearing my favorite top....

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
