Why is living with pets all of the sudden so hard?

Is it just me or has finding a place to live with pets become next to impossible? I mean when you first start looking it seems you have all the options in the world, then you filter your options for pet-friendly and your endless opportunities suddenly go down to a handful. I have sadly run into this problem quite frequently as I have three dogs and no one wants to rent to someone with three dogs without charging an arm and a leg.

My dogs are well behaved and I truly did not think I was asking for a lot when I am looking for a place I just want hardwood floors and pet-friendly. However, when I start looking it seems like every place that is pet-friendly is carpet and has a ridiculous pet fee that goes along with the normal rent.

For pet owners, a lot of us actually have more luck buying a place to live where we can have our pets with a decent yard and not have to worry about a pet rent. I wish in today's society that landlords would be more open to having pets in their properties. I do understand, however, that pets can be a liability and that some do not clean up after their pets.

I would like not to have to buy a house when I have a tendency to move around a lot as it makes it difficult to find a place as my career path does not afford me the luxury of staying in one place forever. I have had dogs my whole life and as I have noticed when you have pets it seems like your best option for housing is to buy a home because renting nowadays has so many stipulations.

You have to be under certain conditions if you own pets in a rental property such as a weight limit or breed restriction and for someone like me that becomes a problem as I have several dogs and most of the time don't fit into one of the conditions. As much as I wish I could say that I believe over time it will be easier to own pets in rental properties, I don't believe that will be the case.

In reality, it will be harder to own pets in rental properties as time progresses because landlords will find that it is harder to be insured with pets than it is to have a no pets policy. That is sad as pets are a huge part of today as everyone has a pet of some kind that lives with them, because owning pets has become something that many people do because of the companionship and love that owning a pet gives you.

I would not be able to live without my babies as they are a huge part of my life and I will not give that up, so if I have to search up and down for a place to live with my dogs then I will 100 out of 100 times.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
