Living with multiple disabilities is hard enough, but being told I can't do something makes it even worse. All throughout growing up, I was told I can't do anything because I'm disabled.

I'm sorry I'm disabled. It's not my fault. I can't turn it off, but I know I wouldn't be the same person if I wasn't. After 23 years of life, I've learned not everyone is going to like you, and that's okay, but what's not okay is telling me I can't do something just because I'm disabled. I'll just go far and beyond to show you I CAN!

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE ME, I WILL PROVE YOU WRONG.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
