Living with roommates is always interesting. If you get to pick them, pick wisely. You will be spending A LOT of time with them. Living with three other girls provides laughter, drama, crazy ideas, nonstop dance parties and the occasional group crying. I have no idea how I could make it without these people in my life. I am used to living with two brothers, so girl roommates are a new thing for me. Thankfully all of my past roommates have been great!

Here is living with all girl roommates as told by Friends:

When you choose to stay in with you roommates, instead of going out with others:

They just get me, ya know.

When you win the all-out war over a stupid thing, like a paper plate:

When you are waiting for the diva roommate to get ready:

I am not going to say any names, you know who you are......

Trying to reason with your roommates about their noise level:

Of course, they decide to be the loudest when you are trying to study

Anytime anyone of you eat:

When you are too mad for words:

When they all leave and you are stuck at home by yourself:

When they like all of your social media posts and especially, the occasional comment "you're like really pretty.":

When they mumble something under their breath or, say some kind of slang you have never heard of in your life:

When you realize you are the one who left the dirty dishes in the sink that was complained about in the group message:

When one is going through a break-up or getting over a boy:

You all end up disliking him

When you try to reason why in the world someone doesn't want to hang with y'all:

When they make a bad decision and tell you about it:

They know you don't approve, but tell you anyway

When they watch as you try to handle your life:

Yo, stop complaining. We all have problems here.

When you take roomie pics and they all look great, except for you:

When you decide to make dinner together:

What happens in the kitchen stays in the kitchen.....jk it goes on snapchat

When you try to adult, but fail:

Somehow they always know what to say.

They are always going to be honest with you:

Roommates don't sugarcoat.

When you see everyone else's outfit, so you go back in your room to change:

Then you run across the hall and shop at Roomie's closet, they always have better things.

When they are all studying, but you need girl time:

Those deep talks about your future:

They answer by saying, "Lol but you are stuck with me!" How does your current boyfriend work into this picture?

Also, those deep conversations when you try to solve the problems of the world:

When they are so sleep deprived, you are sure they are speaking in tongues:

Okay, now it is time to go to bed. No buts, I'm your roommate!

When they do something dumb, lame or just plain gross:

When it is that time of the month for someone:

Usually it is all of you during the same week.

When you watch a scary movie together:

I am not responsible for my actions during this.

Just the normal texts/calls you will get everyday:

Of course, they are kidding. (most of the time)

When you are all reunited after a few hours:

Aw I missed you so much. Don't ever leave me again

To my roomies (Chase, Taylor and MC) : I LOVE YOU!

To my past roomies (LeRon, Rachel, Brittany and Katie) : I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
