Living life spontaneously is just so much more fun than always having a plan and making sure everything goes accordingly.

I'm a big proponent of living life spontaneously; it just makes it so much more fun. Yes, there are several things you can't just decide randomly at the last minute, like where you are going to go to college; but, there are several things you can decided last minute. In today's time, everything needs to be planned out. I feel like people are asking kindergartners where they want to go to college and what they want to study. But having some spontaneity in your life is good thing. It makes life more fun and lets so many more memories be formed.

A lot of my favorite memories in life are ones that were not planned out but last second decisions. Sometimes you need to just be like, "Hey, lets go to do this," not think about it. Just go and do it. It makes things more fun. Living in the moment and just doing what sounds fun at that point in time is so great. You can look back on it later and be like can you believe we did that?

Thursday morning, I woke up and said, "I wanna go get my nose pierced." Because I had class all day, I couldn't go, but by Friday afternoon I got it done. I didn't think about it I just did it and I love it. In the past, my friends and I would randomly be like, "Lets go get shakes at Steak n' Shake," or decide to drive down to IU last second. Being spontaneous doesn't mean you have to go out and do something big, it can be little things like going to Steak n' Shake at 2 in the morning. Just doing things to have fun and make memories.

Join that club you've been wanting to join, go visit that friend you haven't seen in a while, or go to that fancy restaurant for dinner just because. Live life to the fullest and make the most of it because life doesn't last forever. Make those memories that will last a life time because those are the ones worth keeping.

Living life spontaneously is just so much more fun than always having a plan and making sure everything goes to plan. Sometimes plans fail and then what? You're upset that things couldn't go as planned but when you make spontaneous last minutes decisions you can't be upset when things don't go as planned because there was never a plan to begin with. So I challenge you go out and be spontaneous this week do something without planning it out and have fun.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
