Living alone in a college town can be pretty boring. When you're not working, you need to find some way to entertain yourself, or else you'll go crazy.

1. Working.

Excited for a break from school... but now you're available to work 40 + hours a week.

2. Dancing in the apartment.

No roommate leads to dancing around the apartment... in your underwear.

3. Grocery shopping.

The store is so empty now that all of the other college students are gone, and now that the roommate is gone you load up on all of your favorite foods.

4. Ada Hayden.

Best place to go in Ames after a stressful day of work.

5. Sleeping.

Naps are the best way to pass time in summer... right after work? 7 p.m.? All day on your day off? All perfect times to take a nap.

6. Hearing a noise.

The worst is when it's a night.

7. Cooking.

Some nights you go all out when you have the energy to cook for yourself.

Most nights you end up eating cereal because you're too tired after work.

8. Going to your hometown.

Leaving work on a Friday knowing you get to go back home for the weekend.

9. Crying.

You miss your family, friends, your dog. Some nights you just really hate being alone.

10. Calling friends.

Whether it's your college roomie or your hometown best friend... they're always there for you to complain to.

This is how I get through living alone in a college town. What are some ways represent how your life is in a college town over summer?

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
