People can have their brains short out in any number of ways. Something can go wrong and cause them to nearly have an aneurysm in their fit of anger and annoyance. There are many things that I find extremely annoying in any given day. They range from the small and probably not worth my while, to things I am sure most of us would agree is aggravating. Here are just a few things I find mind-boggling annoying:
1. Leaving the bread open
I just brought a loaf of bread, someone leaves it open, and boom -- entire loaf ruined. I go to make toast, and behold, I unwillingly have toast without a toaster. This should have been brought up for discussion in the Geneva Conventions as a war crime.
2. My cats waking me up to feed them at 6 a.m.
Every morning, at 6 a.m. on the dot, one of my two cats jumps on my bed to meow right in my face to let me know she's hungry. The other one simply sits on or around your face and growls (I think she's purring) like a diesel engine. I don't even need an alarm with these two. Plus, they don't quit and only get increasingly annoying if I don't get up and feed them.
3. Forgetting that one item as soon as you get home with groceries
This one ranks pretty high up on my list. I roll over to the grocery store all amped up to get some good food, peruse through all the aisles, get home and lug all the food up and I forgot milk. Or eggs. I always forget the thing that gave me the energy to go to the store in the first place. I have all this food and yet feel so defeated.
4. Forgetting your wallet/purse/money
This kind of goes along with number three, but instead of getting what you need, you have to turn around and go back. You have just managed to add an extra 30 minutes or more to your "quick trip." Half the time I don't even go back that day unless I really needed something. I made it not worth it for myself.
5. Receiving texts that have an amazing amount of typos
I get that texting is supposed to be a fast, easy and fun way to communicate. I get that there are some shortening of words and I deal with that. After all, I am guilty of shortening a few words here and there that are accepted "text lingo." But, one thing I can absolutely not stand is when every other word is misspelled. Or messed up so bad you can't even read it. To me, it shows that you literally cannot take enough time to look over a short text once to make sure it makes sense. You just popped it off and thought "they will understand regardless." No. I don't.
