To my beautiful little sister,

Let me start by saying how wonderful I think you are, even if I don't show it as much as I should. You might always steal my clothes, and sometimes we disagree, but I know you'll always be there for me. I'm so proud of you and everything you have accomplished, and I know you will continue to soar. I'm proud to call you my sister, and more importantly my best friend. Know that I am always here for you, and I'm always on your side.

Thanks for being brutally honest, even if I didn't want to hear it. Thanks for listening to me complain after a bad day. Thanks for always having my back, even if I'm wrong. Thanks for taking cheesy pictures with me, watching Disney movies, and of course always being up for an adventure. Thanks for sharing my love of life.

Even though we live in separate cities and have separate lives, I can always count on your support and thoughtfulness. You might be the little sister, but I have learned a lot from you, and for that, I am thankful. I treasure our childhood memories, and I'm so glad our friendship survived the teenage years.

Lastly, remember to keep setting high goals, and NEVER settle. Keep chipping away at your dreams, and keep your head held high. Don't let stupid boys be mean to you. You're going to go through tough times, lose friends, make new ones, and challenge your beliefs; I'll be there for you through it all.
