T-minus seven months until you finally graduate from high school. Wow, you've finally made it, little sister.

I know as excited as you are to finally be out of high school, I hope you know college isn't always all it's cracked up to be. College can be an amazing, life-changing time, but it's also likely to be incredibly stressful and hectic. I want you to remember to take care of yourself. I know you're already often stressed, and I also know it will get much worse in college.

It's very likely that you won't know what you want to do for college for a while. Maybe a few years even. That's OK! You are so talented at so many things, and I know you have so many different interests that you could definitely excel in. I want you to explore everything I know you love and not decide until you know you've found what you're truly passionate about. Maybe that will even be multiple things!

It's important you remember how amazing you are. You have so many different sides to your personality, and that means you could have many different types of friends. It's weird making new friends all over again, but I know you'll meet so many people that you'll get along with and have amazing friendships.

Also, romantic relationships are kind of dumb. Sorry, but they are. Especially if you don't already have some sort of stability in your life. Take it from your big sis, freshman year relationships are confusing and not worth the spared tears. If you do get into a relationship, just make sure they know that if they hurt you I will destroy their life.

Anyway.

Remember how smart you are. Like I said, college is hard, but I know you can do it. You will have moments where you feel defeated and stupid because somehow everyone else is understanding what you can't quite seem to. Don't let that deter you. You are incredibly intelligent, but different people are better at different subjects.

Remember that I'm just a phone call away. (Also that if you ignore my texts, I WILL call you repeatedly until you answer.) Having already experienced what you will, I know it's really hard to go away from everyone and everything you've ever known and start over. No matter how far away you end up, whether it be at Miami or in Washington state, I'm always here for you. For anything. Even just to say hi. That is the most important thing I need you to know: I care, and I am always available.

You are my little sister. You are smart, beautiful and everything that anyone could ever want to be. If you don't let anything make you forget these things I am telling you I know you will do amazing things in college and for the rest of your life.

Little sister, as you move onto bigger and better things in college, know you're amazing and I will always love you. I can't wait to see the beautiful things you do.

One of the most dreaded places on campus is the library. Nothing awesome ever happens here. Usually, the only reason you're here is because you've procrastinated so long that the library is the only place you'll actually get stuff done. It gives you this feeling of sadness and impending doom. You have no idea how this is going to go or how long you'll be here, but you do know it is about to be the most excruciating experiences yet. But it has to get done, so you drag yourself to the lovely library.

With each new year comes new goals.

Deciding on a goal can be hard, unsure of what to change for this new year. A new goal for myself is to be happier and take care of myself more. I am a very driven person; so driven that I commit to a million and ten things.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.
