Friends are here to get us through life, granted that we take care of them as well in their times of need. Much like friends, desserts are always here for us so long as we eat them. Given this, snack cakes are much like our friends, and this list breaks it down a bit more and hopefully explains this analogy better.

1. Honey Buns (The Mom Friend)

Not thoroughly impressive until you need them the most. The honey bun friend is always there for you in your time of need: be it a breakup, bad test score, or even waking up to a dumb decision the next morning. Honey bun friends are the ones you should always hold near and dear to your heart.

2. Nutty Buddy (The Goofy Friend)

These friends are sometimes the complete opposite of the honey bun friend when it comes to maturity, but they're the friends you're guaranteed to need, so life doesn't stay too boring. These friends will be there for you to loosen up and have some fun, no matter how professional you are.

3. Cosmic Brownies (The Stylish Friend)

Fashionable and trendy friends aren't just reliable because they come in a pinch to make you look your best—but they can be all of the other great qualities in a friend too! Everyone needs a friend to make them look fly who will also be a shoulder to cry on and a late-night milkshake buddy.

4. Zebra Cakes (The Animal-Loving Friend)

These friends, much like the honey bun friends, are always there for you: but with animals. Dogs, cats, hedgehogs, you name it! These buddies have a bounty of animals and a shared love for them to get you through any hard time. Because sometimes, you just need a puppy to cuddle.

5. Little Muffins (The Small, but Feisty Friend)

These friends pack a punch, but only do so lovingly! Especially for extra tall people like me, these friends are great to give piggy back rides to (but hard to take selfies with) and still don't hesitate to defend you.

6. Oatmeal Cream Pies (The Friend Who's Too Sweet)

A friend like this is guaranteed to make you feel spoiled and loved, but too much of these friends and you might start to feel bad. Nonetheless, it's always good to have a companion like this around for when you need a pick-me-up.

7. Fudge Rounds (The Edgy Friend)

Sometimes you need to live life a bit on the wild side. These friends are just what you need in these situations and are guaranteed to spice up your life a bit—but they might get you in a bit of trouble along the way, though. Life lessons and lots of fun memories are a given with these pals: just be smart.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
