Well, I'm going start this off by saying that this may be a little biased, but I don't really care. This past week, I saw two of my favorite artists in concert. I attended the Little Big Town breakers tour and let me tell you, I am MORE than impressed. I am stunned. And that's putting it lightly.
The concert took place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was set up with two stages, which I thought was pretty cool. It is always awesome when artists move throughout the venue. It allows the fans to view the performances from different angles, giving a cool visual experience. There were two openers for the night. Midland opened first which is a country rock band from Dripping Springs, Texas. They've got a total 70's vibe going on and I love it. Their music is awesome and I highly recommend checking it out!
Little Big Town's second opener, Kacey Musgraves did amazing. Like I stated earlier, this review is going to be a bit biased and this is where my bias comes in. I have been a huge fan of Kacey ever since she released her album titled, Same Trailer Different Park, in 2013. She is most definitely one of my idols. She's bad ass and doesn't care about what the world thinks about her which is a mantra I hope to live by as I grow older.
Not only is she incredibly talented, she's gorgeous. She actually just released her newest album Golden Hour, a little over a week ago. It is an album that I highly recommend listening to as it's great. Hell, listen to all of her albums, they all are. For those who don't know who she is, you may have heard a few of her songs and not even realized. Specifically, "Follow Your Arrow" and "Merry Go 'Round." These two songs have charted pretty high (not sure on exact numbers though). Anyways, go give her a listen!
The main act, Little Big Town was incredible. I am MORE than stunned about how amazing they are in concert. Not only do they have chemistry as a group, but they are incredible on stage. If you love harmonies or any music that's pretty, go give them a listen. You actually probably have heard one of their wildly popular songs titled, " Girl Crush," which sounded even better live, which I never thought was possible. That track alone has over 77 million streams on Spotify!
Overall, go check all of these groups out, I promise you won't regret it!
