Literature is a thing of beauty. As an English major, I get to spend my semesters reading some of the most beautiful literature to ever exist. Quotes from the classics can be useful for any moment in your life, whether it is for the good or the bad.
1. "All that is gold does not glitter, / Not all those who wander are lost; / The old that is strong does not wither, / Deep roots are not reached by the frost. / From the ashes a fire shall be woken, / A light from the shadows shall spring; / Renewed shall be blade that was broken; / The crownless again shall be king." - J. R. R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings.

If all else perished and he remained, I should still continue to be, and if all else remained, and we were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger... He's always, always in my mind; not as a pleasure to myself, but as my own being." - Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights.
10. "How blessed are some people, whose lives have no fears, no dreads; to whom sleep is a blessing that comes nightly, and brings nothing but sweet dreams." - Bram Stoker.
