With the upcoming election approaching, it seems like people's opinions are becoming louder some with valid points, others just are following the crowd. I've always researched my facts before I formed my personal presumption on whatever issue I was looking for. Even when I voted in my first election 8 years ago and everyone was raving about the fresh face Senator named Barack Obama who could make a difference in America, I formed my own opinion.
So this past week when I was in American History class I got into a heated debate on whether Trump or Clinton could run the country and who was more fit to be President of the United States. It didn't help that the professor kept baiting this young man to sound more foolish than he was. As I listened to the disturbed soul attack Clinton on how she has sexual predators and her alleged 400 email scandal, I posed a question about Trump's character and who was really qualified to run our country. If you look at it, we have a choice of the two lesser evils. If you filed bankruptcy at least 4 times in the last 15 years how can you make America great again? Then he went on to say just because her husband was president doesn't qualify her to be president. And because Trump has many companies, not a country that qualifies him was my rebuttal. Now after this debate with someone who has never ever voted in a election besides the recent local election we recently had and if he even voted, I was perplexed.
I had to recollect; if I was so naive 8 years ago when Obama stepped on the scene, sure everyone had an opinion, but the ultimate decision was mine to make. If people took time out to figure if the information they are receiving is real and accurate before jumping on the train that is bound straight to hell in a hand basket. The last thought I'm going to leave you with is we need to read , because everything someone doesn't want you to know is in writing so take sometime to see what they are saying. It may surprise you what is really on someone mind.
