Almost everyone who knows me knows I am a Cleveland Cavaliers fan. I watch almost every game that I can. I have dreams of being at a home game with my best friend and I will cheer them on from my tiny dorm room until then.
But I am not here to convince you to cheer for them, that is for another article. I am here to tell you why you should be listening to "Road Trippin' with RJ and Channing" which is hosted by Allie Clifton.
It's eye-opening. If you had ever wanted to know what's like to be in the NBA or what the players go through, this is the podcast for you. I have listened to Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye describe their rookie years and even their college days. They have their teammates come on podcasts and add their own experiences. You get a personal look at the Cavalier players and their lives on the road. They have had plenty of interesting guests, LeBron James, Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving, and Kyle Korver to name some of them. You start to see them as human beings, not just as professional basketball players.
You also get to hear from Allie Clifton, who is the sideline reporter for FOX Sports Ohio. I love hearing from Allie, she's a native Ohioan. I enjoy listening to Allie trying to corral Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye to get to the subject at hand. It usually fails but I admire her for trying.
This podcast literally brightens my day. I get so excited when I see a new one. This is a perfect podcast to listen to while lying in bed or out walking to class. The episodes are pretty long, usually about an hour but it is worth the listen. You can see why the podcast has its own place at number one on the charts. In my opinion, totally better than Draymond Green's podcast.
I hope y'all give it a listen, because it's worth it.
