As of recently, I've started falling in love with my Spotify account and looking into more and more different kinds of music. One band that I rediscovered was Train, an infamous band that is more popular among millennials. When I went up to my friend to tell her about my new-found love for this group, she goes "What is this 2012," and continued to tell me that Train is a "dead band" for an older age group, not teenagers. Nonetheless, I continued to listen to their amazing music and urged others to listen to "50 Ways to Say Goodbye" just one more time with me. Finally, after a conversation with my other friend, he immediately reciprocated the same feelings as I did about the band. I hopped on Ticketmaster and quickly started looking for concert tickets. After only minutes of searching I found that they were about to perform in New York with the Goo-Goo Dolls (trust me, you know this band, listen to "Iris" right now and you'll remember). For only $28 my friend and I had officially bought our tickets and begged our other friends to come to the concert with us. Even though there was a lot of complaining and mumbling of "We're only here for Ashley and Jack," once we arrived at the concert, everyone's' minds changed. There was a complete range of ages at the venue, from 3 year old's to 80 year old's, everyone was there for them. Even in between the opening act and Train, while they were only playing similar music from the early 2000's, my friends and I were singing every word. Train has remained relevant for over 20 years after they formed in 1993, and now remain as an incredible memory for my friends and me. We all agreed after the concert that Train absolutely killed it and we are all now the newest members of their fan club. With such a great experience, I need you all to stop what you're doing and listen to "Hey Soul Sister", "Drive By", "Drops of Jupiter", "Play That Song", "Bruises", "Meet Virginia", and all of their other classics just one more time to fall back in love with this amazing band.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
