Ever felt the strong presence of God telling you to do something? I'm sure we all have. When you get this feeling, don't over look it, listen. Listening to this calling can be such a huge blessing. It doesn't matter if you have not been as close to Him in your relationship as you should be, if He is calling you, He knows you've strayed and is calling you back in and has open arms to welcome you back.
He knows exactly what you need; he hears every prayer and is going to show you the way in due time. We never know why things happen to us, but He does. Whether it's a calling to be crafty, to come back to church, to forgive someone who has done you wrong or hurt you, a job, college, a relationship, anything. If He is laying it on your heart, you need to listen to. He will never leave you on your own or in a hole without a shovel; He will ALWAYS be there for you. He died for our sins and he is there everyday to help you. His love is stronger than any evil in this world. He is your life long best friend. Being young or old many things happen to us and we never understand why they do, but He has it planned to teach us a lesson in the future.
Many of us stray away from church every Sunday and reading our bible like we are supposed to; however, if you believe in your heart that he died on that cross for you, it does not matter to him if you are in a pew every Sunday or reading books of the Bible everyday, He loves you and is there whenever you need to talk.
We often are apprehensive to start a new school or job or even just something we enjoy doing on the side to make a little extra money, but He has put that fire in your heart because that is what He has planned for you in your life. Jumping into these things can be unbelievably scary but even if you fail, that courage from God will never fail to be there. God lays these callings on our hearts for us to learn to let go of the questions and the fears and go and jump into what He is laying on our hearts to do. These callings are so amazing and lead to amazing lessons we will remember for the rest of our lives. These things will not be easy but that's why he has said to us " For the battle is not yours, but God's." 2 Chronicles 20:15. Listen to the things he lays on your heart, they can lead to the best blessings you will ever experience.
