A List Of 21 Things I'm Thankful For

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and as we all sit around the dinner table it's a time to reflect on the things we have to be grateful for on a daily basis. With that being said, here is compiled list of 21 things I'm thankful for.

1. I'm thankful to have a  family who always believes in me.

2. I'm thankful to have a boyfriend that has shown me that love really does exist.

3. I'm thankful for my friends that have stuck with me through thick and thin.

4. I'm thankful to have a roof over my head. 

5. I'm thankful to have the opportunity to further my education by attending college. 

6. I'm thankful to have a job. 

7. I'm thankful to have life lessons that I can learn and grow from. 

8. I'm thankful to come home everyday to a stocked fridge. 

9. I'm thankful to be able to help those in need. 

10. I'm thankful for my ability to express my feelings through writing. 

11. I'm thankful to be a role-model to my sisters. 

12. I'm thankful for the memories I was able to make with my friend Kayla prior to her passing. 

13. I'm thankful for my faith.

14. I'm thankful to be healthy. 

15. I'm thankful to have clothes on my back.

16. I'm thankful to wake up every day and receive a second chance.

17. I'm thankful to have a dog that greets me at the door.

18. I'm thankful for my ability to drive.

19. I'm thankful for the people that have inspired me to become a speech-pathologist. 

20. I'm thankful for my work family.

21. I'm thankful to have humor to allow me to laugh.

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
