List Of Ideas For You And Your Boyfriend To Do During Winter

It's no secret that winter is already here. With the low temperatures and sighting of snow, most people are excited about it because that means Christmas is just right around the corner. Now if you're like me, I try to have fun (despite the fact that it is very cold outside) and enjoy myself around winter time because honestly winter is one of the most cozy and relaxing seasons there is. I tend to make plans to spend time with family, friends, and my boyfriend. Although I love spending time with my family and friends, I just love going on cute dates with my boyfriend; especially if they're coordinated with the seasons. For example, in the fall you would carve pumpkins and go into haunted houses. Even though it's cold outside, that still doesn't mean you can't go on cute dates. So here are a list of ideas for you and your boyfriend to do during winter

1. Ice Skating

Now, ladies, you know your man will probably not be down for something that they could potentially embarrass themselves in front of you. However, that doesn't mean they won't enjoy it, especially if you guys are on a date. Now if it's one of your first times ice skating, obviously the other will help you out, but if you both never been ice skating before then it'll definitely be a date to remember. Regardless if you've guys have or haven't been ice skating, just laugh and have a good time! If you one or both of you fall down, just pick each other back up and continue to enjoy the night. Take cute pictures to post on social media, drink hot cocoa, and dress warm!

2. Have a Christmas Movie Marathon

This is a definite must do during winter. Nothing screams the perfect date like spending a lazy Sunday with your boyfriend, snuggled up under blankets, eating popcorn, and watching Christmas movies. I would highly recommend movies such as Elf, Home Alone series, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, The Polar Express, The Santa Claus series, etc. Whatever you decide, I'm sure it'll be one cozy day.

3. Make a Gingerbread House

If the thought of making gingerbread houses with your boyfriend doesn't make you happy or at least hungry, what are you doing with your life? Sure it may seem a little difficult at first and you both may agree for a second that it's starting to look like crap. However, that doesn't mean give up, I'm sure you'll end up with the gingerbread house you both imagined. Just make sure to have all of the necessary ingredients and take your time, but most importantly have fun with the time being spent together to create a gingerbread house that you'll later end up enjoying.

4. Build a Snowman

You'd be lying if you said "Do you wanna build a snowman" didn't pop in your head when you read number 4. Just throw on a winter jacket, hats, gloves, and snow boots, and you're all set to go outside and build a snowman. Despite the cold weather, I'm sure you and your man will have a blast trying to build a snowman and occasionally shove each other in the snow or throw snowballs. Don't forget to take a picture of the end result!

5. Christmas Lights Display

This is another must do during the winter with your significant other. Just get in the car, have some hot cocoa to-go, turn up the radio, have the heat blasted on high, and just enjoy the view. Honestly, nothing screams Christmas spirit than holiday light display.

6. Christmas Shopping

Personally, this is one of my favorite things to do with my boyfriend. Now obviously you don't buy each other's gifts when you're Christmas shopping together (that's for another time). Buy your friends and families gifts with each other and while you're shopping, hint at something you may like for Christmas. Also just look around and look at all of the amazing stuff on sale and just enjoy the time being spent together.

7. Decorate a Christmas Tree

Now, what's Christmas without a Christmas tree?!? I know some families put their tree up together while some may just have one person in the family put it up themselves and even decorate it. However, one of you can visit and help put up the tree and decorate it. I mean at least you guys will be inside a warm house, that's a huge bonus! And maybe just maybe there will be cookies ready or in the oven. Plus, he may just pick you up so you can put a star/angel on top of the Christmas tree.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
