There's no way I could tell you everything I've learned about college life. Nor do I think I should, because it's important to learn for yourself. But I can give you a few tips and help guide you in your transition. So just try to remember these pointers; jot them down, save this article, do whatever you have to do to keep them around. And maybe one day you'll thank me. Cheers and good luck, freshmen; you'll be seniors before you know it.

1. Four years is less time than you think, and it'll be over in a heartbeat.

2. A bad grade isn't the end of the world. You'll make it through.

3. When you look back, you'll only regret the things you didn't do.

4. Open your dorm room door. Talk to new people; some of them will become your people.

5. Don't wait until the last couple weeks to use up the $200 you have left on your meal plan. It's a difficult task.

6. Avoid McComas the first few weeks of each semester if you don't feel like fighting for a machine. You'll thank me later.

7. Don't wait until Sunday night to study for the test you have Monday morning. You'll regret it.

8. Go to dining halls at weird times to avoid hour-long lines.

9. Be a yes-man. Get involved, go out with your friends, try new things.

10. Stay positive. Things won't always go your way, and you need to be able to handle that.

11. Go to class. One day you'll miss learning.

12. Don't freak out when you realize you hate your major. You'll probably change your mind at least two times.

13. Don't put your health on the back burner. College isn't an excuse to not take care of yourself.

14. Take advantage of all the free stuff that gets offered on campus. Being broke in college is no joke.

15. Don't sweat the small stuff. It's usually not worth getting upset over.

16. Remember what you're ultimately here to do. To get an education and find what you're meant to do.

17. Be the best you. Spread good vibes and offer a smile.

18. Do what you want to do. Play intramural sports, join a sorority or a club. But do it because you wanted to.

19. Don't spend the whole week just waiting for the weekend. You're essentially wishing away much of your college career.

20. And lastly, enjoy every single second. Because before you know it, you're buying your cap and gown and preparing to say goodbye.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
