It's the end of another month, and another month into your new year goals. So now is a perfect time to get off the couch, log off of social media and Netflix, and head to the gym or take a walk. Whether your goal is to lose weight or simply stay in shape, the first step starts with letting go of the excuses and committing to a life of beneficial outcomes. If you're not sure where to start, then here's an A-Z list of health tips!

A - Alkalize.

There are needless benefits to alkalizing your body. The benefits can range from weight loss, mental focus/clarity, energy boost, improved immunity, better skin, hair, and nails, and improves dental health!

B - Balance.

Balance everything in your life, between relaxation, work, family time, and working out. Finding a balance is a great way to focus and remain invested in everything you enjoy doing without stressing yourself out.

C - Comfort Zone.

Find your comfort zone and then break it. This is what holds you back from becoming the best version of yourself. It may seem scary at first but it is completely possible, just take it a day at a time.

D - Diet.

This word often scares people into thinking salads and vegetables forever. However a diet does not have to be that extreme. Simply tracking what you eat and keeping it in moderation can help tremendously.

E - Exercise.

This is extremely important whether or not you want to lose weight or remain healthy. All you need is 60 minutes of activity and it's so easy to engage in something you love! You could spend 60 minutes taking a walk around town, going for a run, gardening, playing with your dog, lifting some weights, or taking a fitness class.

F - Frequency.

Find a frequency in everything you do. Frequently eat healthy meals, frequently work out, frequently take time to reflect and relax.

G - Green Tea.

Green tea is a great way to take a break from drinking water. Green tea helps with memory loss, heart health, bone health, burns fat, can lower risks of cancer, and it helps prevent infection.

H - Healthy Treats.

It's perfectly okay to treat yourself after working out and eating healthy as long as your treat remains along the lines of healthy. This could be some frozen yogurt, a bowl of fresh fruit, or a cup of coffee.

I - Interests.

Find what you enjoy doing and continue to do it. Everyone has different interests and it's important to find what you love. Finding what interests you will help your love for a healthy life style grow.

J - Journal.

Keeping a journal of your food and fitness will help you keep track of what your doing and stay organized.

K - Kindness.

Remain kind to yourself. Getting in shape is not easy, it's a lot of work, but that does not mean it is impossible. Understand your limits and praise yourself for taking the steps towards becoming healthy.

L - Love.

Fall in love with yourself. It's important to love yourself as your body is going through a lot of changes and difficulties.

M - Motivation.

Motivation is a key component to seeing results and getting yourself to workout and eat healthy. Motivate yourself by giving yourself a reward once a month. Motivation can come in endless ways, find the best way that works for you.

N - Nutrition.

It's important to nourish your body everyday with nutrients. You will not see results by purposely skipping meals.

O - Open-mindedness.

Remain open-minded as you begin this journey. There are various ways to workout and various ways to get into shape. Each person's journey is different and so is yours!

P - Patience.

Remain patient. You are not going to see results a day after starting this journey. It takes time, but it will happen if you continue to do it and don't give up.

Q - Question.

It's perfectly okay to ask questions. You are not going to magically know everything about a healthy lifestyle. Ask how to do certain workouts, or how to count calories. Questions are okay!

R - Results.

Results will come and they will be the best reward. Seeing results give you even more motivation to continue with the amazing healthy lifestyle you've chosen.

S - Smile.

Smiling is extremely important. This journey is difficult, but remaining happy and laughing and smiling helps immensely. Positive vibes are the way to go!

T - Time.

Take time to plan out your meals, time to go to the gym, and time to relax. Time is all you need.

U - Unafraid.

Be unafraid of the possibilities you are going to come across by choosing a healthy lifestyle. It may seem overwhelming and scary at first, but it is easy. You are never alone in the process.

V - Vision.

Vision yourself how you want to be and make it happen. These visions will help you find more motivation and to finds reasons to not quit.

W - Water.

DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!

X - X. X.

In victorian slang the use of a double "X" meant "double-excellent". So give yourself an X.X. day everyday.

Y - Yoga.

Yoga is an easy and relaxing way to get your 60 minutes of activity in. Yoga focuses on breathing and stretching which is important to do when you start working out and lifting.

Z - zzz...

Sleep. Get your 7-8 hours of sleep each night. Wake up revived and ready to tackle another day.
