Many people want to do something while they’re inside during Christmas Break. But the problem might be that people spend their time watching Netflix or Hulu. People should take a little break from watching TV and read a book. Most of the books I read are mostly re-read, but I intend to read some books that I have never read before. Here are some books that I might read during my Christmas break and recommend reading to others.
1. Firelight trilogy (Firelight, Vanish, Hidden)
I know not a lot of people like the Twilight saga, but there are books out there that are similar to it, but better. Firelight is about a girl who is a draki (a dragon that can transform into human) and falls in love with her enemy, a hunter for her kind. Some people like forbidden love stories. You probably have never heard of it because it’s hard to find it in the book stores. You can mostly find it in the library.
2. The Hunger Games trilogy (The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay)
Since the movie series ended, it’s time to re-read the books. The trilogy is about a society where 12 boys and 12 girls are raffled into a contest where they fight each other to death until one winner remains. I’ve been a big fan of The Hunger Games trilogy since I read the first book. I know some people like watching the movies that are based on books and not read them. I suggest that people should read the books just because they will understand the movies more if they read the books.
3. 13 Little Blue Envelopes and The Last Little Blue Envelope
These two books are about a girl who lost her aunt, and her aunt left 13 little notes to her, and tells her different instructions. When she gets one envelope, she has to find the other envelope after accomplishing the task.
So, here are the books I probably will read, but I’m not sure if I’ll finish reading them all before school starts again. I mean, I can always read them while I’m at school.
