Too many mornings without a sunrise
Have passed under the lids of my eyes
I’ve been reawakened
Through a sleepless mind
Broken open by the hidden demons
Lurking on my insides
I have burned them alive
And grown again from the ground
In the center of myself,
A star regenerating at the center of the universe
Slowing down time, I am a vortex
Listening to the world churning
Behind my eyes, feeling water filling
My valleys, completing me,
Extinguishing existing fires
But I am nothing in everything
Nowhere.
But everywhere because I breathe
In the air, and it breathes in me.
