Red

You’re a great lover of the classic looks. That being said, there’s something just bold enough about your choices to make you stand out in a crowd, and you aren’t afraid of that. You hate that this is a “trendy” choice, because this standout color has basically been your thing before it was Taylor Swift’s. Honestly, if you’re brave enough to pull off a red lip on the daily you’re not only confident, but probably skilled in makeup at a level most will never dream of achieving.

Pink

Whether it’s a light frosty shade, or a daring hot pink, you love a splash of color without making your lip-color the total fixation of your look, and there’s something to be said about the flexibility of this conservatism. You don’t let your lipstick define you, or anything about your appearance define you either. The colors in your wardrobe are likely a little more diverse than someone who favors a bold lip, and you probably prefer to spend your time on your eye makeup, or creating the perfect highlight.

Neutral

You know exactly what you want. When it comes to makeup, what you want is to draw the focus to your eyes. You likely spend a lot of time on your concealer and foundation as well, finessing the perfect face/nude lip contrast, eliminating any distractions from your winged liner, which is likely sharp enough to kill.

Black

You don’t follow the “rules”, in makeup or otherwise. You own being yourself, and you own your passion for darkness even more. All these memes about all black wardrobes were written for you. You likely have a smile that strikes envy in the hearts of others, but you already know that. Your whole aesthetic takes a lot of time, but it’s always worth it.

Neon

Here’s to those rockin’ the electric blues and highlighter yellows. Your complexion is probably flawless, and you definitely have some other supermodel qualities as well. Your eye shadow probably matches your lip shade exactly. Much like those who favor pink, your wardrobe is likely super colorful. You don’t pick one feature to focus on, because what’s not to love?

Lip Balm/Sheer Gloss

You’re very practical, and like to keep your skin happy and comfortable, much like the way you like to live. That doesn’t mean you don’t like to have a little fun though. You thrive in the limelight of shock factor when you decide to pull out the fun colors on special occasions.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
