The lion appears courageous,
Loudly speaking it's mind.
Hard to find an animal stronger and capable of...
Who knows what indeed?
All the lion has to do is plant a seed,
Give the impression of power,
Standing on a tower of pride,
But what's going on in the inside of its mind?
A lion can be defeated by a net and set free by
The smallest of animals: a mouse.
It builds walls between itself and others
Who it finds not worthy.
The lion sees trials of others and exclaims
"Let them eat cake!"
It doesn't understand and for the sake
Of getting it's name as the face of a nation divided
It'll stand united only with other lions.
Then there's the snake,
Who tries to get people to wipe the slate blank.
It'll lie, convive and assimilate,
And never late to sweep in on a situation
The lion has made.
It'll slither in, whatever it take just to win.
Has it been 4 years since then?
In our world filled with hatred
Negligence led to homicide.
It always has a plan, two steps ahead
Of the public, going around the backs of the public
Is it better to charge straight ahead, or wait and plan what others might have said?
Do both choices lead to a dead end?
Maybe that's why I dread the fall.
