WAS LINDSAY LOHAN CASTED AS ARIEL IN THE LITTLE MERMAID?

It's been years since we've last seen Lindsay Lohan on our tv screens.

The last time we've heard of her was when was she was in trouble with the feds and was photographed with her then fiance Egor Tarabasor twisting her arm in an effort to retrieve his phone from her. She spoke out about her abusive relationship last summer, stating "I realise now you can’t stay in a relationship just for love. No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn’t prepared to say sorry." It was an ongoing battle, as she tried to repair her relationship with him, suggesting that the two go to couple counseling. They never did.

The relationship became so toxic, that she couldn't tolerate it any longer, and with the help of her close loved ones, she was able to move on with her life.

Six months later, it seems as if everything is looking up for the Mean Girls star now that those dark days are behind her.

Lohan's new post suggested that she just might be ready to get back to doing what she onced loved to do. Acting. She took to her Instagram account, where she uploaded a side-by-side photo of her and Ariel, stating that she'd be the perfect candidate to take on the role of Ariel in an announced re-boot of Little Mermaid.

In her caption, it read "I will sing again, as #ariel #thelittlemermaid."

She continued by insisting that "@disney approve that #billcondon directs it along with my sister @alianamusic singing the theme song for the soundtrack...," and that her friend, Kristen Graham, "a well-known trainer and CrossFit enthusiast," according to College Candy, play as Ursula.

Disney did not confirm if whether or not there will be a re-boot of The Little Mermaid and as of right now hasn't responded to Lohan's post.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
