Linda Belcher, the matriarch of the Belcher family, with her unending love for her family, wine, “Grazielda figurines “, is probably one of the funniest characters on TV now. Her fiery personality and blazing enthusiasm for whatever is going on that day or “whatever crazy crap” her kids are getting into makes her an easily relatable character. From trying to get her husband Bob interested in whatever she’s into that week, to trying to understand her oldest daughter, Tina, supporting Gene’s ever-changing interests and dreams, and trying to get through to and bond with her youngest child, Louise, I think it’s safe for those who watch the to say they’ve noticed some ways that they share personality aspects with Linda. She’s every woman: she’s genuine, loving, honest, tough, independent, brilliant, and a little bit crazy. When you watch the show you might just laugh off whatever perfect line she has in that particular episode but if you sit back and really think about it, she’s not only a funny woman but a great mother too.

1. She supports her kids no matter what they want to do.

Remember when Tina wanted to read her “erotic friend fiction” to the entire school, or her “sexy dance fighting”? Linda was right there cheering her on. Gene’s “Die Hard: A One Gene Show” or when he competed in “table scraping”, Linda was right there cheering in the audience. Who can forget how excited she was that Louise and Tina were both going to be racing in the Kings Head Island Grand Prix?

2. She gives 110 percent of herself to her dreams and passions.

Even though her passions sometimes got in the way of the family business, *cough* Hamburger Dinner Theatre *cough*, she completely dedicated herself to that short-lived dream. Or when she turned their apartment into a bed and breakfast? Although she went completely overboard, in her heart she honestly just wanted everyone to have an amazing time and show everyone she was the best hostess.

3. She will do anything for her kids.

One Halloween, Linda, along with some help from Bob, Teddy, and Mort, spent the entire day making a brightly colored dragon costume for the kids. According to her, that's what parents do, "They glue crap onto stuff for their kids".

4. She also knows when to look the other way.

One of my favorite Linda quotes is when asked why she didn't step in and stop Gene and Louise from putting on Gene's show she honestly answered "we don’t know all the crazy crap our kids are doing"

5. She will go to the ends of Earth to have the best relationships with her children.

Remember when she tricked Louise into "MODO Time"? Even though she had to pay Louise to participate, it was worth it to her to fix her relationship with her young, temperamental daughter.

6. She’s the queen of tough love.

Like the time she had Tina give Louise some ice cream to make Louise' cavity hurt so bad she'd agree to go to the dentist.

7. She is the ultimate fun mom.

Remember "The Freezer Dome?" Linda is probably the only mom that will host an underground ice wrestling rink instead of running a restaurant because honestly, I think we'd all make the same choice".

8. She loves the holidays more than anyone I’ve ever seen.

Linda's always ready for the next Holliday, the day after Halloween she was already set up for Thanksgiving. As soon as thanksgiving was over the Christmas tree went up. Unfortunately, that proved to be too early for the tree and they ended up needing to get two more trees.

9. She is unapologetically honest.

10. She doesn’t get drunk, she "just has fun."

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
