On August 25th, 2017, Lil Uzi Vert released his debut album entitled "Luv Is Rage 2". The upcoming rapper/rockstar from Philadelphia has been at the top of his game ever since his smash-hit singles "Bad and Boujee" and "XO TOUR Llif3" broke mainstream barriers.

Lil Uzi Vert's eccentric personality and authentically animated style are what set him apart from other artists in his class, helping his first professional project do huge numbers on global charts. By September 16th, 2017, "Luv Is Rage 2" reached the Number One spot on Billboard's Top 200 albums.

For the 23-year-old rapper, this feat was definitely his biggest accomplishment, as he was quoted saying, "It means everything. I think I'm the only person, anyway, that exists, so I'm already No. 1!'" when asked how he felt about his sales. The album has been on the charts for 16 weeks up until this day, proving Uzi is not just the typical one-hit wonder.

"Luv Is Rage 2" brought in approximately 150.6 million on-demand audio streams of tracks on the album, making Uzi's project's sales the highest debut numbers for an album since Kendrick Lamar's "DAMN". With the year coming to an end, fans are expecting Uzi to drop even more groundbreaking music in 2018, with the hopes that his momentum and drive don't burn out.

It will be exciting to see what Uzi will bring to the table in 2018, and even more exciting to see how long it will take until he is universally acknowledged as one of the greatest artists of this generation.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
