To mothers,
We should thank you for all you do for us every single day; it is necessary to say it and get into detail. Thank you. Thank you for giving us life. Thank you for being there for us. Thank you for feeding us. Thank you for putting clothes on our backs. Thank you for holding up a roof over our heads. Thank you for being our friend. However, most importantly, thank you for being our mother. We do not know what it is like to go through all you do: hard-core hours at work, dropping us off and picking us up from school, driving us to practice, cooking for us to satisfy our need of food, and so much more. We do not understand how you find the time for yourselves when you are too busy doing everything for us. We appreciate the sacrifices you have made for us and that you are always there for us. You are always there, through the good and bad times: through the smiles, the laughs, the cries, the anger, the anxiety, the stress, and every mood. You have been there from the moment we had a glimpse of life and day by day until we are capable of taking care of you. You raised us to be who we are and lead us down the path to who we want to become. You taught us manners and how to respect everyone in our lives. You taught us that education should be our top priority because our grades actually do mean everything when applying for college. You taught us to always be kind to others because we do not know what others are going through. You taught us to be humble. You taught us to work hard for what we want because nothing worth having comes easily to us. You treat us before you treat yourselves and make sure that we have everything we want. You never make promises to us but always try your best to give us what we drool for, and somehow you eventually place it in our hands to have forever. We appreciate you. We appreciate all you do. We admire the way you are so strong and hardworking. We work hard as we get older and pray we are able to make you proud with all of our accomplishments, whether it is school, jobs, sports, etc. We always manage to put a smile on your faces just like you do for us. We are thankful to have you in our lives. Nothing is better than love from a mother.
Thank you, Mom.
