Something that I live by is optimism. Optimism is the thing that keeps me positive and upbeat daily. Many dwell on the negative aspects of life, that is not the way to live. Life is a mysterious thing and we as humans can never grasp the concept of life. Optimism gives us hope, positive vibes usually result in positive outcomes, but this isn't always the case. Negativity can always get the best of us. It darkens our glimpse of hope that is barely shining through the darkness that is engulfing us.

How does someone make it through the darkness of negativity? A great question that is difficult to answer. There is no right or wrong answer to this question, but there are ways to resolve the problem of negativity. Negativity is always going to be part of our lives and there are, and will be, dark times in your life, no doubt about it. There are many techniques to instill "hope," that light we need for the darkness. I know that it has been said over and over again, but there really is a light at the end of the tunnel, the sun will come out tomorrow. Hopefully by now, you get my point with the cliche analogies.

Optimism is my "light" in the time of darkness, maybe it could be for you too. There are many different ways to snuff out the darkness and live life with positivity. It seems easier said than done, but not impossible. Your happiness is key to life and negativity is not part of that key. Life is built on hope and it is the light that to shows us the way through the dark times.

Light over darkness.

Believe in hope!

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."
