Health is wealth. Most have heard this before, but don't understand just how much it means. During the youth stages, it is easy to slump into a poor lifestyle as you feel fit, and your body is in perfect shape. However, things change drastically as you start to grow.

What does it help to have all the money in the world when you cannot enjoy it due to a failing body? Imagine spending all your old age moving around hospitals for regular medication. Before, you also want to keep healthy even in the present even to be assured of hitting that old age.

The only to that top shape and health is to lead the ideal lifestyle. Here are some of the lifestyle routine to incorporate into your life for the best immunity;

  • 1.Enough Sleep

The quality of sleep has fast been waning in recent times, with most people looking to stay more productive. However, nothing hinders productivity more than a lack of enough sleep. Sleep is important for the different parts of the brain that boost cognition, productivity, concentration, and performance.

Studies have established that sleep deprivation has almost similar effects on the brain to that of alcohol intoxication. Good sleep on the other improve memory in both adults and children.

Inadequate sleep has also been linked to weight gain as those who sleep less tend to eat more calories as they have bigger appetites. Poor sleepers are also at higher risk of stroke, heart disease, and other chronic diseases.

Sleep deprivation also affects metabolism and type2 diabetes risk. It is linked to depression and poor immune functionality.

One of the reasons why people fail to sleep is access to a phone in bed. Stop all your phone interactions before stepping into bed. Also, eat at least an hour earlier before getting to bed. Also have a comfortable, noise-free, and preferably dark sleeping area.

  • 2.Drinking a Lot of Water

Most people have heard of the need to drink water before, but don't seem to get it. With the human body 60% water, hydration is the other important healthy tip you can ever get. Enough water helps in maximizing physical performance. Lack of hydration reduces oxidation, thus poor body temperature leading to demotivation and increased fatigue.

Drinking enough water is also linked to high energy levels and brain function. Lack of water increases dehydration, thus dropped energy levels and uncheckered moods leading to poor memory.

Enough water also helps reduce headaches, relieves constipation, and may help treat kidney stones. It's also great in managing hangover and can also be used for weight loss regimes. Even though the ideal amount of water to take in a day is 64 ounces, you can still a personal water drinking goal. All you need is hydration for the best mental and physical shape.

The quality of water is as important as the role it plays in building the immune system, for the best results use ahigh-quality filtration system for the cleanest and safest drinking water.

  • 3.Taking a balanced diet
Almost everyone knows about the need for a healthy diet right from the early stages of life. However, people always find ways to eat unhealthily. Most would blame it on the advertisements by the simple carbs industry, the ease of access, or just the lack of time to prepare proper meals. Whatever the reason, you don't want to have short term pleasures while sacrificing your health.

A proper diet is important for weight management. Even though there are other unorthodox ways of weight loss like hunger, the right food ensures you are full, have the nutrients but also in the right body shape.

The right diet also protects from chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and the risk of culture. Several of the lifestyle diseases that are rampant today are attributed to poor eating habits.

Taking a balanced diet is also great for your kids. The children are likely to learn from you the need to eat healthily only when you also do the same. It is healthy in your pocket. When you eat right, you don't have to buy other supplements or multi-vitamins for the deficient nutrients.

  • 1.Exercise

If you contact any of the several lifestyle diseases like heart diseases and hypertension, you have toincorporate regular exercise into your lifestyle. Regular exercise helps manage multiple health issues like arthritis, depression, anxiety, and several types of cancer. It also improves cognitive functions and keeps you safe from multiple threats.

Exercising also helps improve immunity by boosting body energy. It increases muscle strength and endurance, thus safe from most bodily harm. It helps in blood circulation and nutrient supply in all the major body parts like heart, lungs, and kidney for a super cardiovascular system.

Exercising also improves the quality of sleep. It makes you sleep faster and deeper. For the effective exercise, create and stick to a routine. It can be as light as a few minutes' walk or get ripped lifting bars.

  • 2. Avoid Stress

Most people never realize the impact of stress on human immunity. Stress reduces the immune system by limiting the body's response to invaders. Most body functions tend to be suppressed as the body majorly deals with stress.

Stress can also indirectly lead to poor immune systems as most people resort to unhealthy eating habits to cope with the situation.

There is a need to look into stress during such times of the prevailing Covid-19. Having to stay at home all the time, with reduced income or job loss, is quite stressful. The disease has affected everyone in the world, such that anyone is susceptible to stress.

Bottom Line

Even though health is the most important aspect of human life, most people don't give it too much thought. For that, a growing population of sickly and frail is ever-expanding. The right health comes with super immunity. The best way to have a working immunity is by having enough sleep, a lot of water, eating right, exercising regularly, and avoiding stress.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
