Life Will Knock You Down, And Heres Why

God will always give you more than you can handle.

Life Will Knock You Down, And Heres Why

I'm sure I'm not the first person that's told you that life will throw curve balls at you. It will throw them at you left and right when you think you can't handle anything else. Heres the thing, people will always say "God will never give you any more than you can handle."

That statement is wrong.

God most certainly will give you more than you can handle. That's how you get stronger.

It's okay to scream. It's okay to cry. It's okay to watch your life fall apart and not know what to do. Everything about that is normal.

When you feel like you can't take anything else, life will throw something at you so hard that it will knock you on the ground. Now listen to this next part carefully. It's very important. Don't stop fighting. Run to your best friend, your roommate, your group of friends, do whatever you have to do. Scream to the world, find someone to talk to. But do NOT go into your dark place. Don't go into the place that makes you a different person. I don't care what happens, do NOT go to the place where you shut out the people that care about you. That place is a danger zone. That place will ruin the way you see the world.

I don't care if the thought of talking to people kills you. Go and find someone and talk to them. You might even find out that they are going through the exact same thing as you. You might find out that they've already been through it. Don't let the world change you.

Don't let life change you. Don't let the bad things about life ruin you. God will give you more than you can handle because he wants you to be stronger than ever before. He wants you to know that you will be more and that you CAN be more.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
