Everyone knows that life isn't easy. Anything can happen at anytime, and curveballs will come your way when you least expect them. Even though life can be hard and you may not always feels strong, you are tougher than whatever life throws at you.

If you are like me, whenever life throws something my way that is difficult to get through or understand, I feel like I have to stay strong for the ones around me. I don't want to break down and let people know that I am not okay, but I think it is important to understand that it is okay to not be okay. It's okay to cry, breakdown, and to be upset and angry at the situation you are in.

Even though it's okay to breakdown and be upset, it is even more important to understand that you can get back up from where life has knocked you down. You are stronger than any situation you find yourself in. Even more importantly, God has your back. Exodus 33:14 says, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

No matter where life takes you, the Lord will go with you. He will always be there to give you peace, rest, and hope. Through him you have strength and that strength makes you stronger than anything you come up against. The next time life has you down, I encourage you to just step away and have some time with the Lord. Let him remind you of the strength he gives you and sit in his presence and peace.

Just remember, you are tougher than anything life throws your way. Now go kick life's butt.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
