We have all had those moments when it feels like happiness and joyness has just dissipated and disappeared from our lives. We as teenagers and adults, are then left to ponder whether our life has been a mistake and if it was really was what we wanted.. That's where Tumblr comes into play. Tumblr is a social networking and blogging website that was founded in 2007 by David Karp. Throughout the years, Tumblr has gained more and more popularity and has become home to cheesy life quotes and memes.
We gaze through all the quotes laughing and smiling thinking about how these are way too cliche. And I used to be that way too. But over time, with experiences that have both helped me and hurt me, I've began to realize that maybe these are true. As young teenagers, everyone and everything around you may seem normal. You and your friends are having fun, going to the pool, going to the movies, etc. But one really never the true emotions and feelings of someone until they talk to them...alone. Noticing an issue and not doing anything about cause a more profound and devastating effect as sometimes, it makes the person going through hard times feel as if no one is there for them and makes their condition even worse.

This quote seems a little bit to happy and too joyful, which then causes people to not think about whether this quote could truly be applied to our lives. I could relate this in my own life. Not too long ago, a great friend of mine passed away because of cancer and I felt like I had lost a massive part of me. I gave up on everything. I didn't want to partake in any activities, I just wanted to stay in my room and just cry and sob and grieve for my friend. I didn't wanna ask for help and I hoped that someone would notice and say something. Thankfully, someone did and they talked me through everything. Everyday, they would continue to text me all day motivating me to hold myself together and not let this event bring me down and stop me from doing what I want.
The only way you can get rid of all the sadness and bring back what makes this world a better and peaceful place, happiness, is to try and push through all the pain that you are going through. You can't let it bring you down, because if you do, that depression is going to send you into a deep hole of sorrow and hopelessness. Talk to someone, whether it be family, friends, counselors, teachers, whoever, just get someone you trust and talk to them because they will be the ones who you know you can rely on and will get you through everything and always have your back no matter how hard it is for you and will do whatever it takes to make sure that you are ok. Life is short, so don't let anything stop you and slow you down...
