What Life Is Like When You Live With Your Best Friends (As Told By Scrubs And Friends)

Even though I have next to no time for social activities or relaxation, I try to make it a point to do something enjoyable for at least fifteen minutes a night. Sometimes I fall asleep reading a book that isn't required for class, sometimes I have more time and end up in front of Netflix. My roommates and I congregate in the living room, often armed with bottles of nail polish, and we watch TV together. Our current favorites are Friends and Scrubs. I think we're drawn to these shows because they really exhibit what life is like when you have best friends at work, school, and home. So, in an homage to the two favorite TV shows of the ladies in apartment 8, here is what life is like when you're constantly with your best friends, as told by Friends and Scrubs.

1. You are always together. Always.

My three best friends and I live together, we're on the same school team, and we've even had jobs in the same location. It's a lot of togetherness, and sometimes we feel like a giant, four headed person.

2. There are no secrets in this apartment.

We know everything. Mostly because we all talk to each other about various aspects of life. Also because we stalk each other on Twitter from the bathroom. It's normal

3. When we're all awake at 3 a.m., coherent thoughts don't exist.

"How did we get on this topic? I distinctly remember talking about goats before this conversation started."

4. You have a great support system through the good and the bad.

Failed a test? Hug it out. Just got engaged? I'll open some wine! Dropped your pizza on the floor? I'll cry with you.

5. They're often comfortable with your significant other.

Maybe it's a little awkward at first, but before too long they end up feeling like they're part of your living arrangement too.

6. Too much togetherness exists...

7. ... but you quickly get over it because you miss your best friends.

8. And honestly, you may have even moved past being best friends

9. Nothing is left to the imagination anymore.

Yeah, privacy doesn't really exist. That's pretty much college.

10. Despite the good and the bad, there's nothing but love for each other.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
