Throughout this week, life has thrown me several hard obstacles that had me start to realize how fragile life is. It has been proven to me multiple times that it can be taken away in the matter of a second regardless of what you are doing. These past challenges has taught me to look at the bigger picture in life and to reassess what truly matters to me.
I began to think about why I was stressing so much about the little things in life that will not matter in a year from now. We all have a tendency to get carried away in the moment but I am trying my best to shape my mindset to evaluate each situation before putting my energy into it. Continue to ask yourself whether something is worth stressing over because most of the time it is not. Do not waste your time analyzing each and every little thing that happens in your life, just allow yourself to live life to the fullest.
Everyone has different aspirations and dreams, but we all share a common goal: to fulfill them. Each day try to set goals for yourself of what you want to accomplish. I have found it easier to get things done by creating a list rather than just hoping I will find the time to complete my tasks. Take advantage of all the time in the day to do what you want. At the end of the day, you will be thinking about how much you completed instead of stressing about not doing anything and allowing your day to go to waste.
Every day that we live is a blessing and I am trying to teach myself to live each day like it is my last. I want to have no regrets in life and by living life to its fullest, it is hard to imagine having any. You will learn what is relevant and irrelevant to your life and from there you can teach yourself to not sweat the small stuff. Try not to get carried away in the moment and look at the bigger picture called life.
