I discovered Sex and The City almost ten years ago and although it's been off the air for quite some time, its message remains relevant and enlightening for twenty and thirty-something women everywhere. Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, and Charlotte teach us about true friendship, exquisite fashion, and how to find laughter when life throws you a curveball. Sixteen years, six seasons on HBO and two movies later, and SATC can still show us all a thing or two about life.

1. Don't let anyone steal your shine.

2. It's inevitable. Life is going to knock you down. Get back up.

3. Know your worth.

4. Quality over quantity.

5. It's okay to want more than a fairytale.

6. Don't look back. You're not going that way.

7. Being single is an adventure if you are brave enough to embrace it.

8. Don't rush to make judgments. See things for what they are.

Maybe the best any of use can do is not to quit, plan the hand we've been given, and accessorize the outfit we've got. -Carrie Bradshaw

You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
