1. Nothing good happens after 2 am.

It’s true; just go home.

2. Some mistakes have to be made in order to realize they were mistakes.

No matter how many times someone warns you not to do something, sometimes you just have to do it anyway to realize that it was wrong.

3. The only thing that can truly heal a broken heart is time.

It’d be nice if there was another solution, but even so, it’s kind of comforting to know that eventually, it will get better.

4. Even if you know how something is going to end, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy the ride.

Most things in life have an expiration date…enjoy them while you can.

5. If you're really honest with yourself with what you want out of life, life gives it to you.

Once you decide what you want and what you need, don’t stop looking until you find exactly that. Never settle, because what you want could be right around the bend.

6. Miracles happen.

Never say never.

7. You can swallow your anger, you can throw it in someone's face, or you can just let it go.

The hardest thing to do is let go and move on…but it’s also the most rewarding. Letting go of things that cause you pain or suffering is the best way to find something better.

8. When exes try to be casual, someone always gets hurt.

Feelings don't just go away.

9. Don't be in a rush to jump to the end; the journey is the best part.

Going through heartache and pain is awful, and sometimes feels never ending. But it is important to recognize that bad experiences are still part of the journey that’s going to make you stronger and better for the future. Experiencing different things is what helps you grow and become more you.

10. Take the leap, especially if it scares you.

The best things in life often come from a decision that was difficult to make, or that scared us. But if you never do things that scare you, you’ll never know what outcomes they could have had!

11. Hold out for the person who doesn't just tolerate your little quirks, but actually loves them.

This is one of the most important lessons; don’t settle for someone who tolerates you and all of your quirks. Wait for the person who loves you for who you are and never tries to change parts of you. That person is out there. Keep looking; you won’t regret it.

12. "Not right now" means you're on someone else's hook. Set yourself free.

Breakups are hard. Remaining on someone’s hook because they are too insecure to let you go is harder. Let YOURSELF go. You don’t need that in your life.

13. Closure doesn't exist.

Stop searching for it; just let go and move on. You’ll be happier in the end.

14. Sometimes things need to fall apart to make way for better things.

When good things fall apart it always hurts, but you have to have faith that they’re making way for better things. Let it hurt for a little while and then let it go; the future is brighter than the past.

15. The future is scary but you can't just run back to the past because it's familiar.

If you keep backtracking, you’re never going to move forward, and you’re never going to become who you are meant to be. The future is frightening and unfamiliar but it is also full of opportunities to grow.

16. If you have chemistry the only other thing you need is timing. But timing is a bitch.

But, that doesn’t mean wait around.

17. You can't talk yourself into falling in love. It doesn't take days. When it's real, you know quickly. And with absolute certainty.

Keep searching for that person who draws you in and never makes you doubt that it’s real.

18. Wait for the real thing no matter how tough it gets.

Again, don’t settle. Everyone deserves complete happiness with themselves and also in their romantic relationships.

19. Love is the best thing we do. And it doesn't even have to make sense to make sense. You can't cling to the past, because no matter how tightly you hold on, it's already gone.

The only direction is forward. Even if going backward is easier or more comfortable.

20. When you find someone you want to keep around, you do something about it.

This is important to apply in the other direction; you’d do anything to keep the person you love in your life. Therefore, if someone tries to remove you from theirs, they don’t deserve another second of your time. Keep searching for someone who can’t picture their life without you in it, and look for the kind of love that you give to other people. You will find it.

21. Lastly, surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you and always try to lift you up when you're down. Good friends make life so much more awesome.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo
