As a role-playing game, "Life is Strange" allows the player to choose their own behaviors and consequences. Since Max has the ability to reverse time, many permutations are available to explore. One decision can affect the outcome of the entire game. It's thrilling to have so much control over a narrative.
Literary in its conception and themes, "Life Is Strange" pulls its audience in. The story is woven with complicated strands of “what if?" It is the player's job to sort out these strands to create the best ending possible.
