No one could justify what happened to Alton Sterling, Philander Castile, or any of the other African Americans that have lost their lives due to police brutality. It's disgusting and it's wrong in every way. Black lives do matter and I'm not anti-police. But I'm pro-police and I don't hate African Americans. I have a heart and I believe everyone should be pro-everyone! It's sickening we even have to discuss this.
The Dallas shooting resulted in five Dallas police officers killed and seven others wounded. It was during a peaceful protest about recent police shootings. It's heartbreaking to think about the ones that were killed and their families. But I want to know why do so many people talk about this and support this but not Alton Sterling and Philando Castile? I see all over my Facebook, people putting up pictures supporting the Dallas officers. Which isn't wrong at all! It's a beautiful thing to see everyone unite and come together. But why are there only a select few that have done the same for Alton Sterling and Philando Castile? The shooter in Dallas did want to kill white officers. That is hatred towards caucasians and not right in any way. But the officers that kill innocent blacks are no different than the man who killed the Dallas officers. Police lives and black lives matter. One should feel sadness and anger about all of these shootings. We should feel compassion and send our thoughts to all the victims. These incidents are both disgusting actions and should work you up the same no matter what your color is!
Martin Luther King Jr. would be so ashamed right now to see Americans acting this way. Violence is never ever the anwswer. Taking someone's innocent life is never the answer. We are going backwards in time when we should be moving forward. It blows my mind racism is still a thing and even was ever a thing. You're not going to hate someone for what color their shirt is so why hate someone for what color their skin is? It's time to put a stop to it. To put racism in the past.
Black lives matter. White lives matter. Police lives matter. Gay lives matter. Straight lives matter. The young, the old, every life matters. Enough is enough and we need to come together. We are Americans, we are one. Stop the hate, spread the love. Please.
