Life Is A High School

We have good people and then we have bad people.

But it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter because even if you're a good person you can still be messed up by the way you act or what you say or how you want to treat a person you don't like. And then with people that are bad they're already messed up because of the way how they act and how they treat people. Everyday we see this and no one really cares or stop to think about how they can effect a person in just one second. But life is a high school and the reason why is because no matter how old we get or no matter how mature we look or how mature we can be, life will forever be high school because when we live our lives, good or bad we tend to be selfish, act petty and childish, and big jerks so that we have more power over a person we don't like and make them feel like they can't step on your ground because if they do then we would want to fight them which is how immature kids act and think. No one can ever grow up. Yeah there might be some people who are mature and just don't stress about nothing but when someone we don't like get under our skin we tend to act like little kids and snap at them or make them feel like they are a diseased and that no one wants to be around them. And I learned that the hard way and you might have also. It doesn't matter how old you are cause there are people who are 50 years old and up who act childish and call people names or wants to fight them just because they don't like what they look like, or how they live their lives, or how good they are. Especially in college. We have young adults who act like they're still in high school because they don't like someone who looks like a weak person, or if someone look at them they take it personal or they spread rumors about a person because they want that person to be hurt. Young adults who want to be treated like an adult but an adult is someone who do what they have to do, they are mature, and they don't stress about anything. They live their lives and forget about the negativity and the drama that doesn't have to exist in their lives.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
