To my fellow brothers of the Lambda Delta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi,

I can't imagine my life without you. You have been the most important group I think I have ever been a part of. You've shown me what it truly means to serve.

College is hard. We all know that. But it is less hard when you have a band of thirty other people you can go to for any kind and every kind of support.

Whether it's a hug or "spilling tea" you guys always know how to make me feel better when I'm down or stressed. You make the good times better. And band wouldn't be the same without my brothers by my side.

You all show me what it means to serve the band through your actions every day, every band rehearsal, every game day. You push me to be a better brother, whether you realize it or not.

To my Xinosaurs: You of all the people in this fraternity are the ones who helped me the most throughout my time as a brother. You know what I went through and how I felt because you all went through it, too and felt the same things I did.

You guys helped me through a really hard semester and made me feel like I was supposed to continue on. When I wanted to quit my process because I had a lot on my plate, almost too much to handle, you guys helped me through and realized that, yeah, things were tough, but we would get through it all together as a class.

To my triplets: I love you both more than you could possibly know. We have had some of the best times together, and I couldn't have asked for a better set of people to be my triplets! You guys light up my life and I am so happy to have you!

To my little: Amelia, it has been so wonderful to watch you grow into the brother you are today. You not only serve the band as the secretary, but you go above and beyond what is expected of you as a brother. You make me want to become a better brother! You inspire me in so many ways, and I love you to pieces Little!

I love this chapter, this fraternity, this band, and most especially these people! You are all my people and I love you! You make me a better person. I am so, so, so lucky to have you all in my life, active and alumni. Thank you so much for all that all of you guys do for me. You don't know how much it means to me that you're all in my life.

Love you always,

Emma

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
