We all have our own busy lives and we forget to appreciate the small things in life. But we should all learn to take a step back, slow down, and appreciate our lives every once in a while. It is perfectly fine to make mistakes sometimes, as long as we can learn from them and get back on track.

Strapped in the car,

Driving down your lane.

Usually moving fast,

Missing the details, with vain.

But rush hour gets you

Everyday.

Screaming, "Slow Down!"

And enjoy today.

The other cars

Honk and roar.

At first, they get to you,

But then you learn to ignore.

And sometimes a wrong exit comes your way,

But it's okay.

Because the U-turn awaits

Steering you into a safe place

When you make a mistake

Because Life is a Highway.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
