1. "How has Covid impacted your life the most?"

Georgia (High School Senior)- "Track. Because my season got cancelled and meets got cancelled, and it is hard to meet my achievements. My plans got changed and I have had to try and overcome the challenge of meeting college coaches without having meets."

Grace (College Sophomore)- "It took a big toll on my mental health and impacted my state of mind."

2. "What is your social life like during the pandemic?"

Georgia- "Hanging out with people has not changed a lot, but there are not a lot of social and school functions that I feel I have missed out on. We cannot go to football games, the movies, parties...."

Grace- "I get out of the house a lot. I traveled to see my friends that live out of state. I was still very sociable despite the strict guidelines for public interaction.

3. "What do you do for fun?"

Georgia- "I play music and write songs. I like to workout and hangout with friends. I like to box; it's a new hobby I picked up. I like spending time with my family... sometimes"

Grace- "I like to take pictures. I by disposable cameras or polaroid film to document my college adventures, my young years."

4. "What is your favorite zoom encounter from online school?"

Georgia- "I hate zoom"

Grace- "While my profesor was talkingin in multimedia, students would be in the chat having their own conversations unrelated to the fact that he was teaching."

5. "Do you feel that you have learned new things about yourself because of facing the pandemic?"

Georgia- "I have learned that I do not like being inside. I do not think that I learn as well outside of the classroom. It is much easier to learn in a focused environment with other students."

Grace- "No."

6. "What are ways you socialize with other people while maintaining social distancing?"

Georgia- "Hahaha, I don't.... just kidding ;)..... I wear a mask, but I do not hangout in large groups of people."

Grace- "I have never been a touchy or affectionate pereson, so it whas not been too hard for me to keep my distance from people. I do not hug or touch other people; I just talke to them."

7. "Is online school better for college or high school?"

Georgia- "College because high school doesn't know how to handle their shit."

Grace- "College because professors are abel to make their own cirriculum and have more freedom with online class fit to them. High school teachers have to follow a specific structure for online school adn that seems to create problems."

8. "What is your favorite quarantine meal?"

Georgia- "I like to make a whole batch of cookies and eat half of them one night and the other half for breakfast in the morning."

Grace- "My sisters and I got bubble tea a lot: chai tea with boba."

9. "What new acitivities or hobbies have you picked up while in quarantine?"

Georgia- "I started drinking orange juice everyday."

Grace- "I tried to have a new hobby. I tried embrodiery/needlepoint, but I failed miserably at it."

10. "Was quarantine different than you expected it would be?"

Georgia- "Yes, I did not expect it to be this big of a deal."

Grace- "Yes; I thought that the world was going to shut down forever and I would always be traooed in my house, but then everybody flattened the curve and things got better... more bearable."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
