As much as I love being a woman--I mean who wouldn't? Because girls just want to have fun!--sometimes I do have those moments where I fantasize about what it would be like to be a man in a man's world. Would I still be the same person, but just in a different body? Would I be a ladies man, or would I be a complete gentleman?--the questions are endless.
So here is my list of the top five activities I would want to experience if I were a boy for just one day:
1. I'm a man, so the world is my bathroom!
First and foremost I would make it my mission for the day to pee in every public place I possibly could. Let's be real here, every woman I know--myself included--is highly jealous of the reality that men are not ONLY able to pee standing up--because I mean how cool is that!--, but they are also allowed access to view every single place--indoors and outdoors--as their own personal restroom. Knowing that I can relieve myself wherever and whenever is an amazing perk to my adventures of being a boy for a day!
2. I am ready for No-Shave November!
Being a woman, I am constantly used to having to shave/wax certain areas of my body on a schedule that's like clockwork. But the whole essence of being a man is simply that: be a man, and men don't care about the growth of hair--let alone stubble! So one of the most cherished man-esque activities I would partake in would be not to shave. Better yet, I would try out every crazy cool design that I could using my facial hair. And to all of you nay-sayers out there I say: EMBRACE THE FACE-ial hair!
3. Let's get naked!
Being a boy for the day will finally grant me the luxury of whipping off my shirt and flaunting what I got...without facing any repercussions! I would literally go everywhere without wearing a shirt if I were a boy for the day. I feel like not wearing a shirt in public would be one of the most freeing and exhilarating experiences I could have while being a boy because as a woman, I am subjected to social custom that it is not okay for women to walk around shirtless. So if I were a boy, I would embrace this double standard rule and roam the streets topless!
4. Put me in coach!
The world of sports is a giant mystery to me (because I am not athletic, NOT because of my gender), so I would love to see my skills on the field/court if I were a boy for the day. I would try every sport whole-heartedly, in the hopes of conquering the athletic world. I'm also very curious to see how the difference between having estrogen and having testosterone influence my power, agility, and overall athletic ability.
5. Chivalry is NOT dead!
Contrary to popular belief, chivalry is NOT dead. If I were a boy for the day, I would prove to women of all shapes, colors and sizes that they deserve nothing less than a gentleman. In the technological world that we live in, sometimes the simple things go undetected. For example, if I were a boy I would take my girl for a simple, yet romantic outing; something that proves I care and love the goddess that she is!
So to all of you women out there that dream about what it would be like to be a boy--even if only for a little while--according to the hit movie,She's The Man, "Just remember, inside every girl, there's a boy..."
